In collaboration with Museum of the United Nations
Throughout Denmark, Institute for Climate Sound & Society has been partnering with the Museum of the United Nations’s Sounds Right initiative, traveling across Denmark to conduct workshops, concerts and school programsβusing music as a gateway to connect young people with biodiversity and climate. As a part of this project, we’ve partnered with the Dansk Naturhistorisk Museum, Danish musicians NEBULAH and LUNA ERSAHIN, Concito, Behave Green and schools around the country.
At a time when nature connectedness is declining, the initiative set out to strengthen the bond between young people and the natural world. Through deep listening and sensing, almost 3,000 young people took part in 19 nature excursions, events and workshops, alongside musicians, field recorders, biologists and teachers.
βListening in this way gives you a chance to slow down and experience nature in a different way.β
